Meet Your School Counselor:
Mrs. Pope

I am pleased to serve students and families at Joseph Lane Middle School in the counseling department. I aim to help students reach their potential by working on academic, social/emotional, and career and college readiness needs through classroom lessons, small group work, and individual counseling sessions. I work closely with students, families, and staff to provide an environment where all students can thrive.

Meet Your School Counselor:
Mrs. Wicks

I am excited to be your counselor during your time here at Jo Lane Middle School.   My journey to becoming a school counselor has been an adventurous one.  After I graduated high school, I joined the United States Air Force and began to meet interesting people from around the world.  It was during this time that I realized I wanted to work with the youth and when I was discharged from the military, I started my educational journey to being in education.
